VIPs are in town!

Well the winter weather has drawn a number of VIPs... very interesting Pelicans!


I asked Pops this morning if I could borrow his truck to go tooling around in town.  He traded keys with me and drove off to work in my roadster.  Looks right nice in it I might say!

As I was traveling down the riverside parkway, I caught a glimpse of something very special... so much so that I had to turn around and go back and shoot a few photos.  Here is one that turned out nicely.  I counted somewhere between 25 and 35 of these amazing creatures chilling out in some water, near the parkway.
