The imaginary travels of the one Mr. Diddy! Norway and Finland

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

So, I booked me a flight to Honningsvåg, Norway via American Airlines out of Dallas. The flight was 18 hrs and 25 minutes, non-stop for a little over $2000. Took a bite out of me pension from service to the Queen. Nonetheless, I endevoured to make this trip so that I could make my blog and this facebook page more enjoyable to my viewing audience. One must enjoy fiction, or endure it, whatever the case, to read the various travels world wide by Mr. Diddy! hehehe.
This is... what I saw. I rented a car at the airport and made my way to this. Beautiful scenery at nearly the top of the world. However, there was only some sort of weather station or satellite receiving station there. No accommodations.

So, I'll quickly be on me way to find a warm cup of broth and some decent digs to stay the evening. I waited until me Mum and Pops were safely where they were traveling today before jetting over to Dallas to catch my American flight.

Drove all the way to Kobbenesvegen, Finland.  What a drive!  Found this little place to stay, The Nygard, for $123 a night.  Plenty tired...

Some scenery around the village...

Wait a minute.  I think I hear an important message, like an emergency broadcast message coming over the radio.  I'll turn it up for a better chance at hearing it all.

"Mr. Diddy, Wake Up!"

Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

It can't be.  I've been dreaming the whole thing.  I saw 7 movies and had 4 meals on the flight.  How can that be.  I even remember all the folks that were on that flight...

I'm afraid there'll be no Kahn jokes or selfies today.  It seems the joke is on me.

Say Goodnight Kahn.

Goodnight Kahn!

all right then, that's a wrap.  Happy New Years, Everyone!

Mum's Flowers

Hello All!

Diddy here.

Me mum's had a good season for her flowers.  Half pint farm's peppers are still kicking hard.
Pops is working fast and furious to finish the greenhouse for our citrus trees.  The weather has been unseasonably warm.  However, here as the last of 2015 closes out, it appears that once again flannel is in fashion on the farm.  Pops likes wearing flannel.  So, I think he is happy about the change in temperature.  Mum and Pops had me drive them to Tyler, Texas recently.  I was happy to do so.  I get to go to Chuy's Restaurant when we are there and Mum and Pops enjoy it as well.   The truly odd thing was that all of the azaleas all over the city were in full bloom.  When we got home, I remembered what I saw and took a stroll around the yard.  Much to my surprise we had Hibiscus, Roses, and even Cannas blooming.  Blimey!  Who would have thought?  Well, nonetheless, here are some photos of Mum's flowers and our bevy of peppers.  ENJOY!

Christmas lights

Hello Folks!

Diddy here, again.

I just can't let go of the old year without posting up some Christmas light photos from around Louisiana and Texas, as promised.  I asked Jaycie to sing Jingle Bells for us and it went like this...

Uhhhgg Uhhhgg Uhhhgg
Uhhhgg Uhhhgg Uhhhgg
Uhhhgg Uhhhgg
Uhhhgggggg
Uhhhgg Uhhhgg!

You get the drift.

So in the spirit of Jaycie's version of Jingle Bells, here are some pics from around the way!

the above were displayed in Marshall, TX

Jefferson, TX

The colorful palm tree and cactus were found in Kilgore, TX

The above 3 were taken in Logansport, LA

This final group were taken in Minden, LA

Okay, Hope you enjoyed this Christmas Photo Essay!

Fooled Again! Bath Time :(

Hello Folks.

It's not often when someone gets one over on Mr. Diddy.  But, when it does happen, it is usually Mum who is to be credited for pulling one over on me.  Pops said for me not to get too upset about it, she is always 7 steps ahead of him.  Poor Pops.  Too many whacks from the Smack is you ask me.

Kahn's Corny Joke of the day: Where does Kahn go to meet a gathering of like minded folk?

Answer: a Kahn-vention Center.

Kahn also shot a new selfie:

He encouraged me to take one:

But I think his photographic skills (or the lack thereof) are wearing off on me.

On to the subject matter.  At last, you may recall that Mum called me upstairs away from me blog to get some chocolate pudding.  Well blimey me, if I'd thought about it, I'd realized that I can't have chocolate,  But no, I didn't consider it and fooled I was into walking right into a trap that had me headed directly to the bath.  Kahn chuckled in the background.  You see, Mum found a flea on me.  One flea.  One.   Did I mention that it was only one flea?  Well that sort of thing just drives Mum crazy.  So off to the bath it was for me.  Baths are sort of a traumatic experience for me.  Reminds me of the time I had to swim the Indian Ocean to escape a sinking spy trawler.  But that's a story for another time.  Here are a few pics of me in me bath.

Not too deep, that's a good thing.

The water's quite warm. I think I need to add some cool water.

This warm water is really making me drowsy.

I can finally feel the cooler water mix in.

Oooh Yeah.  That's nice!

Here's a shot of the best side of me!

A mug the likes of which that only a Mum could love.

Even I like to joke around some.  Time to towel off, then off for a nap!

See you folks around.  Time to catch up on me rest.
