Tyler, Texas shops and eats

Hello My Friends!

Diddy, here.

I went along for the ride with me Mum and Pops to Tyler, Texas.  I get the feeling that maybe Pops doesn't like it with me behind the wheel!  That's okay, though.  It saves me gasoline expenses.

We did some shopping at various locales that Mum directed us to... such as Dillards, Kohls, Marshalla, T.J. Maxx, and Boot Barn.  Here are a few "Diddy sized" items that I found.  As well as a few others I liked.  Here are a few pictures for your perusal...

This is a "Diddy Sized" bean pot.

Some "Diddy Sized" Rubber boots!

Saw this sign... interesting take on meals.

Okay. Maybe I'm not looking at this right... but what exactly is the point?

Alas, Dinner calls.  My favorite dining place, for TexMex in Tyler, CHUYS!

If you go, ask for Chris, he's new on the job (just a little over a month), but he is fresh out of the Air Force and is an excellent waiter.

The décor inside is interesting.  :}

But, the food is more interesting.
In the foreground is a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom plate with Boom Boom sauce.   In the background is a Steak Burrito with Queso melted and poured all over it.  YUMMM!  Plenty of warmed chips with creamy jalapeno sauce and some really amazing salsa rounds out the meal.  Their tea is quite delicious.   They also have a drink bar at your command, if margaritas or any of a thousand other adult beverages are the order of the day.  In the bar area, there are a large number of booths and tables available.  Happy hour starts a 4pm weekdays and offers all you can eat self serve chips and queso or salsa out of the trunk of an old early 60's model Ford or Mercury... not sure about the exact make or model.  Just that it's really neat how they have that setup for your esthetic dining pleasure.  Pops and I are old car aficionados (Mum too) and we all enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Later, after more shopping, we all popped into the Cotton Patch there in Tyler for some amazing Blackberry Cobbler with vanilla ice cream.  Oh, it so hits the spot!

That's a wrap, folks.

Say goodnight, Kahn.

Good night, Kahn.

Yep, that's what I thought.

CORGI!
