Mum made us scrambled eggs. Yum!
The girls have been busy. Our first to lay an egg was Gertie.
All the others looked at her in amazement and began to call her "the factory" after she kept laying eggs, while the rest of them lollygagged around. Now it seems that all of the girls are firing on all cylinders.
Plenty of eggs. Even Dr. Kahn (whom I often call the "giant" and when I refer to such you know who I mean) had eggs for breakfast. Mum mixed in with our normal chow. She gets it from a bag. Now, I don't mean to complain, but, honestly, From A Bag? About the only thing I am interested in eating out of a plastic bag is perhaps potato chips. Preferably with dip or salsa. Ooooh, I do love salsa! I even like guacamole, even though it appears to look like something that came out of the southern end of a north bound mule!
Now about breakfast. Pops and I enjoyed a round of coffee with stevia and coconut oil. The scrambled eggs were amazing with cayenne, turmeric, and ginger sprinkled on them. Add a little touch of sea salt, some ground up pepper corns and wahlah! Eggsamundo Baby! Yeah!
Kahn couldn't get enough. As usual. He took a selfie...
Gotta teach him how to avoid the red eye.
Concerning Dr. Kahn... we have a number of nicknames for him. He originally thought he was a Chihuahua. According to Kahn that is pronounced Chee-who-ugh-who-ugh. So pops started calling him CheeWho. He'd get this big goofy grin on his mug when we'd call him that. Later, when he was at least a year older, I took him for a drive in my roadster. We saw a sign that had a black and white cow talking about Eat Mor Chikn. I pointed out to my affable sidekick and he instantly felt kinship with the critter on the billboard. SO at that point, Dr. Kahn decided that he was a cow. So now his nickname became "Cowboy". He's actually a pretty smart fellow, especially for a Great Dane. As I stated earlier, my nickname for him is "Giant". At least he doesn't have 6 toes on each foot like a certain first lady we all know was allegedly given to have.
After Supper, I took Mum and Pops for a ride in Minden, LA in my Land Rover to see the Christmas Lights!
Lots of lovely lights to gaze upon!
They even had Nutcrackers on guard lining the streets of Downtown.
I shot a photo of Pops next to one. It's taller than him!
After the Minden trip, Mum and Pops and I watched "Christmas in Connecticut" last night and were very much entertained. Some things just never grow old. Reminds me of a time when I was on assignment and I took a young Frau to the picture show in Nuremburg to see "Arsenic and Old Lace". But that is a story for another time. Mum is calling me to snack on yogurt.
CORGI!
